2018 Stamping For Autism Awareness Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!!

Happy Monday and Happy World Autism Awareness Day!! I am so excited about this AWESOME blog hop!! The reason why this blog hop is so close to my heart is because of this lil man here.

This is my pride, joy, my life, my lil man, my partner in crime, my best friend, my miracle, my son. This is Thelonious Ross Nelson(Theo) and he is 6 1/2 years old. My hubby Tim and I found out that our lil Theo had autism June 2014. I am not gonna lie.... when I found out my heart hurt so bad. I felt like it was my fault and I cried all day long. Then I realized that I wasn't alone. People like Tim, Mom, Dad, Mom and Dad in-law, Veronica, Amy, Anita, Libby, Connie, Jessi, Pinky, Jenee, MaryLynn, Nitchka(if I missed any of y'all I am so sorry.....brain fart...lol) and many of the Autism FB groups and many others have helped me so much! Y'all are seriously my heroes......for reals.......WERD!! I am so grateful that all of you are participating in this wonderful blog hop as well. It really does make my heart HAPPY to see all of this AWESOME support from all of y'all!!!  THANKS SO MUCH!! Happy Friday and hope all is well!! This week we are playing with some fantastic products from our friends at Clear Scraps and excited to share our finished projects. You can image how much fun it is to have a clean canvas to start with but when you use Clear Scraps it’s a see-through canvas! Here is some info on Clear Scraps!!

Our friends at Clear Scraps take pride in new product inventions with the best interactive albums and the best innovative designs.  In addition to their own fantastic and innovative products, Clear Scraps sells a huge selection of Stampendous products as they travel the nation visiting various consumer shows like Scrapbook Expos and others.  Clear Scraps Acrylic Albums & Shapes are made from the most flexible and durable material available to help you manipulate them to work for your project but yet, withhold the clarity of Acrylic you have come to know.  With our material, you can emboss it, cut it, punch it, stamp it, paint it, etch it and so much more, but yet, not show any distress marks on the display.  Our products even have a higher adhesion rate for incorporating inks and wet glues.  Rub ons is also a great product to use on Acrylic as you can see the image from both sides!

Hey Y'all!!!

Happy Friday....hope all is well. So I am soooooo excited to tell y'all that Clear Scraps and Stampendous! are collaborating this week and...well everyone has done a super awesome job on their projects!!! I had a chance to create with an acrylic card using some good ole StazOn Metalic Gold Ink(Tsukineko)......(OMGoodness....so new to me....lol)......and it goes a lil somethin' like this.....CHECK IT!!!

So....I must admit it was my first time using StazOn Ink on acrylic....and it was not that bad....lol!! I need to practice more....you know....but over all the card came out pretty cool....I think....lol!! I got to use this awesome Stampendous! set Elegant Borders too! Check out some more awesome inspiration:
