Fun hop! I love reading the comments about the kindnesses!
An act of kindness.... I just read in my local paper about someone who lost their wallet and it was returned to them intact. She wrote a thank you to the finder. Must have been a big relief to her to get her things returned!

What a great idea! A friend just recently gave me a darling tote bag just because she thought I would like it. It really brightened my day. Yesterday I helped another friend out by altering a top for her. I'm not a seamstress, but she needed help. She was so grateful for such a small favor. I felt really good afterward.

Recently I was having financial difficulty and a friend and former colleague of mine gave me some money to help out. She explained that she and her husband had set the money aside in a "pass it on" fund to share because of a kindness that was done for them. I was flabbergasted and humbled by their kindness and promised them that when I am able, I too will "pass it on."

wow this is very nice of you... no pun intended hehehe! A RAK that has stuck with me forever was when I was a freshman in highschool it was one of the first days of school and I was being picked up by my mom that day because I had had an extracurricular activity. I was just a mousy thing back then, and so instead of standing at the door entrance where everyone else was (since I was super shy) I ventured out... little did I realize it was raining cats and dogs and that is why everyone was crowded around the doors. I was too embarressed to walk back in through the doors and stand with everyone as my mom was not there yet so I just stood there getting soaked. All of a sudden a guy came out with an umbrella and held it over me. I didn't know him except I recognized him being in one of my classes. He stayed there until my mom picked me up and neither one of us said a word. I did manage a thank you as I ran to my mom's car door that day, but he never acknowledged the incident again... it was that small act that really made the difference and I can remember it all of these years later! Whew! If you made it this long, thanks!
