Hey Y'all!!!

Happy Sunday!!! I hope everyone had a great day!!! I created a pretty CAS for today and it goes a lil somethin' like this.......CHECK IT!!!!

I tried a new technique......Stamp Kissing. I "kissed" the Peace sign stamp with the "inkless" Mesh Background......love, love, love how the peace signs came out!!! I created this card using the colors for the Play Date Cafe Challenge:

Last but not least I created this card for the Market Street Stamps Block Party.....Hecks to the Yes!!!

Last Week of the April Stampendous Challenge!!

The stupendous Stampendous gals are at it again this week…recycling, repurposing, and reusing for the month of April! Nothing hits the “round file” this month, and everything is fair game to be stamped, cut, encrusted, and Fran•táged! This is the card that I came up with and it goes a lil' something like this.........................CHECK IT!!!!

I recycled the ribbon and the gray cardstock(in my scrap pile)......it was in my scrap bag!!!

Card Recipe for Love to You Card

Stamps: Stampendous!

Paper: White(Hammermill), Red(Memory Box), DP(Canvas Corp), Red(The Paper Company)

Ink: Tuxedo Black(Memento), Copic Marker

Accessories: Ribbon(May Arts), Twine(The Twinery), Red Rhinestone(Michaels)

Tools: Paper Distresser(Tim Holtz), Scissors, (Clear Acrylic Block(Stampendous!), Hole Punch(We R Memory Keepers)
Other: Adhesive(Glue Arts), Pop Up Dots(Michaels)


Directions
1. Create card from cardstock.
2. Distress and adhere red cardstock onto card base.
3. Distress DP and adhere onto red cardstock panel.
4. Using Acrylic block and stamp, stamp checkered floor (using Tuxedo Black Ink) onto white carstock and adhere to card.
5. Using Tuxedo Black Ink stamp Alice onto white cardstock. Color using Copic Marker. Cut out.
6. Using pop up dots adhere Alice image onto card.
7. Add ribbon.
8. Stamp sentiment onto red cardstock and create tag.
9. Using hole punch, punch a hole on the sentiment tag and tie the twine through it. Add red rhinestone onto the ribbon.

Stampendous April Challenge!!

Hey Y'all!!!

It’s the first Saturday in April, and that means the Stampendous team has a brand new challenge for you. This month, in honor of Earth Day, we are challenging ourselves (and you) to make something that uses product(s) that are recycled, repurposed, or reused in some way. The possibilities are endless! Snazz up a household item and turn it into something beautiful, use something unexpected on your card, or even just use up some scraps you’ve had in your stash forever (that’s recycling, right?!?). Here is my project and it goes a lil' somethin' like this...................CHECK IT!!!

The thing that is recycled or repurposed is the green "ribbon".......the ribbon is a field day ribbon from school from many years a go.....my Principal "hooked" me up....lol!!!
